Burn ban in effect

Palo Pinto County has reinstated the burn ban, which covers all outdoor burning of tree and debris piles.

New tornado app from the Red Cross 

Just in time for spring, the American Red Cross has released a tornado app for mobile phones, including an audible siren that automatically goes off when NOAA issues a Tornado Warning, what to do even if cell towers and TVs are down, and a toolkit with a strobe light, flashlight and audible alert functions.  Click here to download from iTunes or Google.
